I love all you paintings. Could you please tell me how you determine what to paint first in acrylic? Do you underpaint in acrylic for the animals and florals? I am going to try this method. What about the leaves? I am a kittle cofused yet to try....thank you!

Also what medium? I am thinking of trying linseed mixed with thinner

Your medium is perfect. I do the same and.....the acrylic what I use for the backgrouds is... like this one most blue and green and then later i make structure with blue and green. The breast from the parrot.... I made yellow first with acrylic and then with oilpaint the structure, the feathers. And so on and so on. I do it by the flowers as wel by the animals. Almost every painting I made.
